Rockwell, 268 Main St., as part of the Comedy at the Rock series. Mason, a “Last Comic Standing” veteran, is currently on the TV series “Exposed” for the Travel Channel and “Staan Dups” on the Starz Network. Austin is a patent lawyer and was raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He wrote, directed and starred in “The IP Section” comedy series. Brand PC Holiday Celebration Park City Summit County Arts Council will host a holiday celebration from 7-10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Branded PC, 692 Main St. The free event will feature products made by local entrepreneurs, light bites and a cash bar for those ages 21 and older. Park City Film: ‘Harriet’ Park City Film will present Kasi Lemmon’s biopic, “Harriet,” rated PG-13, throughSunday, Dec. 15, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. Saturday’s screening will begin at 8 p.m. Sunday’s screening starts at 6 p.m. “Harriet” is based on the life of an iconic American freedom fighter, Harriet Tubman. It tells of her escape from slavery, courage, ingenuity and tenacity that helped free hundreds of slaves and changed the course of history. Park City Holiday Spectacular at the Egyptian Theatre The annual Park City Holiday Spectacular, featuring local talent, will run from Friday, Dec. 13, to Sunday, Dec. 15, at the Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St. Friday and Saturday performances will start at 8 p.m.; Sunday’s curtain is 6 p.m. The performances will feature singing, dancing and Santa Claus. Park City Film Foreign Cinema for Kids ‘Atrapa La Bandera’ Park City Film Foreign Cinema for Kids program will present a free screening of Enrique Gato’s “Atrapa La Bandera,” rated PG, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. The animated story is about Mike Goldwing, who stows away on a rocket bound for the moon to fulfill his grandfather’s lost dream of being an astronaut. Meanwhile, a Texas billionaire is also racing to the moon to destroy the Apollo XI flag and rewrite history in his favor. Film will be shown in Spanish with English subtitles. For information, visit parkcityfilm.org. Saturday Morning Snowshoe Tour at the Swaner Preserve Saturday morning snowshoe tours are held at 8:30 a.m. every Saturday at the Swaner EcoCenter. The cost is $10 per person and $5 for local residents. Depending upon the time of year, lucky hikers may see an abundance of birds, elk or even nesting sandhill cranes. Climbing Wall at the Swaner EcoCenter The Swaner EcoCenter, 1258 Center Drive, at Kimball Junction, offers climbing on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-3 p.m. The climbing wall is open to most ages. The EcoCenter will provide the climbing harness, but climbers must wear closed-toe shoes. Climbers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to sign a liability waiver. Annual Park City Christmas Bird Count The ninth annual Park City Christmas Bird Count will run from 7:45 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Dec. 15, at the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter. The Christmas Bird Count (CBC) is a census of birds performed annually in December and January by volunteer birders to provide population data for use in science,-though many people participate just for fun. The group will meet at the Swaner EcoCenter, 1258 Center Drive at Kimball Junction, for coffee and a snack and then split into several teams to cover areas from Jordanelle north, to Jeremy Ranch and Summit Park east, to Rockport and Peoa.
