After losing 17 friends, classmates, and teachers, the students mobilized,, lobbying state government officials, and planning March For Our Lives. Saturday’s event will feature an on-stage interview,where the pair will share their insights on gun violence, social justice, civic engagement, voting and activism. Tickets range from $29-$69. Joined on his quest by his best friend Mont (Jonathan Majors), Jimmie searches for belonging in a rapidly changing city that seems to have left them behind. General admission tickets are $8. Sunday, Sept. 22 Guided Historic Hike at Deer Valley A guided historic hike at Deer Valley will start at 8:30 p.m. at the base of the Sterling Express lift. The hike, which will visit some of the local mining history areas, will cover more than five miles over moderately strenuous terrain and last three to four hours. Park City Film: ‘Anthropocene: The Human Epoch’ Park City Film will present a free screening of Jennifer Baichwal, Edward Burtynsky, and Nicholas de Pencier’s documentary “Anthropocene: The Human Epoch” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. The documentary follows the research of an international body of scientists, the Anthropocene Working Group, which, after nearly 10 years of research, argues that as a result of profound and lasting human changes to the Earth, the Holocene Epoch, gave way in the mid-twentieth century to what they call the Anthropocene Epoch. A post-film panel discussion moderated by Swaner EcoCenter Executive Director Nell Larson, will feature Park City Mayor Andy Beerman; Dr. Carlos G.
