The market’s hours run from noon until 5 p.m. every Wednesday until mid-October. UNCORKED CONCERT AT RECYCLE UTAH The eighth annual Uncorked outdoor concert will run from 5:30-9 p.m. on Friday, June 21, at Recycle Utah, 1825 Woodbine Way. The event, which will feature live music, family activities, food and drinks, is a fundraiser for the nonprofit’s glass recycling collections program. The cost is $7 per person and will be available at the door. BACKYARD CAMPOUT AND MOVIE IN THE PARK National Backyard Campout and Movie in the Park, which will screen either “The Incredibles 2,” “Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse” or “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World,” will start at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, at Trailside Park Upper Field, 5715 Trailside Drive, The event, which will feature pre-screening games, is free and open to the public. Organizer seeks a new location for the local summer tradition SCOTT IWASAKI The Park Record The Park City Farmer’s Market opened on June 12 at the Silver King parking lot at Park City Mountain Resort with a full slate of vendors. No one was more pleased than market founder and organizer Volker Ritzinger. “We have way more farmers than we expected,” Ritzinger said during an interview last week. “We had some farmers actually call to tell us earlier this week that they wouldn’t be able to make it, because they were a little behind schedule. But today they all showed up.” The Park City Farmer’s Market will continue its 2019 run from noon to 5 p.m. every Wednesday through mid October. Admission is free. Ritzinger said his contract with Vail Resorts to use the parking lot ends this season. Earlier this year, Park City Mountain Resort reached an agreement to sell the lot’s property to PEG Companies, a development firm from Provo. “We have had a great relationship with Park City Mountain Resort and Vail for the past 20 years,” Ritzinger TANZI PROPST/PARK RECORD Apple strudels, made by Volker’s Bakery, are available at the Park City Farmer’s Market.
