Brookside Ct. The concerts, which will raise awareness for the Summit County Mental Wellness Alliance and mental health, are free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted. Park City Film Foreign Cinema for Kids: ‘Zip and Zap and the Marble Gang’ Park City Film will present a free screening of Oskar Santos’ “Zip and Zap and the Marble Gang,” not rated, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. Naughty twins Zip & Zap are punished and sent to summer school at Hope, a strict re-education center run by Falconetti, who rules with a heavy hand and forbids all forms of recreation and entertainment. Wild Women Tribe: Wander Wild Women Tribe, a community group that connects and empowers women, will host a wander session at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 9. Saturday Morning Snowshoe at the Swaner Preserve Saturday morning nature walks are held at 8:30 a.m. every Saturday at the Swaner EcoCenter. The cost is $10 per person and $5 for local residents. The EcoCenter will provide the climbing harness, but climbers must wear closed-toe shoes. Climbers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to sign a liability waiver. Tuesday, March 12 Park City Speaker Series Three Parkites – Carlie Judd Hardy, Holly Flanders and Molly Bice Jackson – will share messages of hope, resilience, connection and getting to an Olympic level in life. Connections at Peace House Peace House will kick off a 12-week shaming resiliency group therapy course based on Brene Brown’s Connections curriculum Wednesday. The group is open to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, undergoing breast cancer treatment or have survived breast cancer. Family Mental Health Support Groups CONNECT, a nonprofit that raises awareness of mental health issues, hosts a parents family and friends support group from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month and at noon on the second Thursday of the month at the Blair Education Center at the Park City Hospital, 900 Round Valley Drive. It also hosts at support group for parents and guardians of school-age youth from 4-5 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month at Parley’s Park Elementary School Counseling Center, 4600 Silver Springs Drive. In addition, Connect Summit County hosts a family mental health peer support group at 6:15 p.m. every last Tuesday of the month at the Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave. The sessions are free and open to the public. Eating Disorders Group An eating disorders group will meet at 4 p.m. every Monday at the Dell Center, 1912 Sidewinder Drive, Suite 213. This group covers topics relevant to all people struggling with any type of disordered eating. Some topics include, but are not limited to; intuitive eating, body image, emotional eating, triggers and coping skills, mindfulness, and self esteem.
