The twins form the Marble Gang; the children’s resistance, in order to defy the evil headmaster. The film will be screened in Spanish with English subtitles. For information, visit parkcityfilm.org. Utah Symphony musicians travel to Haiti to hold free workshops for local music teachers, who make up the HOI Orchestra. Most of the students, who come from a national network of 30 schools, are music teachers themselves, so training from the Utah Symphony musicians helps them with their livelihoods, said cellist John Eckstein. ‘THE BOOK OF LIFE’ SCREENING IN KAMAS Foreign Cinema for Kids will present a free screening of “The Book of Life,” rated PG, at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, at the Summit County Library Kamas Valley Branch, 110 N. Main St. In the Mexican town of San Angel, Manolo, Maria and Joaquin have been friends ever since childhood. The protests have become violent enough for the United States State Department to recently issue a ‘do not travel’ advisory for anyone who plans to visit Haiti, according to Eckstein. “The delay is frustrating, but we are in this for the long term so we decided to hold the fundraiser as planned. The money we raise will be ready for when we are able to go,” he said.
