Dennis and Maurine of Orangeville, were married on Dec. 12, 1958 in the Manti LDS Temple. They are the parents of five children: Jeffery (Lynette), Steven (Janet), Wayne (Elise) of Orangeville, Teresa (Dan) Limb of Marion, Utah, and Denise (Russell) Astin of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. They have 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Congratulations, Mom and Dad! Miranda Fauver Brooks Shurtliff Maegan Snelgrove Brandon Wilberg Jim and Jennifer Fauver of Orangeville, announce the marriage of their daughter Miranda, to Brooks Shurtliff, son of Larry and Leona Shurtliff of Enterprise, Utah. The couple will be married Dec. 17, 2008, in the St. George LDS Temple. Miranda is a 2006 graduate of Emery High School and the College of Eastern Utah. She is attending Southern Utah University and is employed by the Iron County School District. Brooks is a 2004 graduate of Manti High School and served an LDS mission to Lima, Peru. He is a student at Southern Utah University, majoring in biology. The couple will make their home in Cedar City as they continue their education. Les and Linda Wilberg announce the marriage of their son, Brandon, to Maegan Snelgrove of Francis, Utah. The couple will be married Dec. 13 in the Salt Lake Temple. Cox was promoted to Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp. on Nov. 1. Kyle serves as a crew chief on the Presidential Squadron. The Commander and Chief, President George W. Bush, held a special ceremony to give his heartfelt ‘thank you’ and appreciation for a job well done. President Bush conversed and shook all of the squadron members’ hands. Kyle’s proud grandparents are Cliff and Janice Snow and Mike and Claudia Kenny, all of Emery County. Kyle’s parents are Kim and Larry Wilkins and Douglas Cox, all of Green River, Wyo. Chris is 18 years old and was selected by his training officer to be the dorm chief. The dorm chief is in charge of 52 men. He was assigned to march the airmen, keep dorms clean, and other responsibilities assigned by the commanding officer. Chris was awarded top airman, commanding excellence and honorary flight. Only four of the 16 flights were honored as top flights. Mortensen is now stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi, where he is attending air traffic control school. Chris’ proud grandparents are Clifford and Janice Snow of Ferron and Chris’ parents are Patrick and Stacy Skinner of Henderson, Nev. |
