Davis Benefit Roping The Emery and Carbon County community rallied to help as a benefit roping event was held for Tyrell Justice on Dec. 6 at the equestrian center in Castle Dale. Numerous local businesses and individuals donated items for a silent auction during the roping event to assist Justice, who was critically injured in an automobile accident on Nov. 1. According to his mother, Adele Justice, on Tyrell’s CaringBridge blog (www.caringbridge.org/visit/tyrelljustice), almost $12,000 was raised on Saturday to help with Tyrell’s medical expenses as he recovers from his accident. they were not able to complete the entire goal. The policy does not affect after school concessions Another policy revision dealt with interscholastic athletics. The policy would prohibit elementary students from competing in secondary athletics without prior board approval.
