Blanca, the superior for the St. Josephs Catholic school, returned during the week after spending her vacation at Notre Dame, and announces that the local school will open on Tuesday of next week, 8ept. 7th. 'All of the Sisters are now in Eureka and there will be eome changes in the personnel of the teaching staff. Sister Herman Joseph, who had charge of the musical work for a number of years, has been assigned to Fresno, California, and Sister- - Hilldetta, who comes from 8t. Josephs Academy, at 8outh Bend, Indiana, will succeed her In the local school. Sister Herman Joseph brought the music branch of the school up to a very high standard which will no doubt be maintained by the new teacher. Those desiring instruction in music are asked to enroll at once. An addition to the school this year will be a kindergarten department under the supervision of Sister Verenlee, who was sent to Eureka from St. Hary, Indiana, where she had an excellent record in the training of little folks. Children who are too young to enter the grade school will receive just the training they need iu the kindergarten department of the St Joseph's school. The kindergarten work will take up two hours a day, from 10 to 1! a. m.
