Courtesy photos RECOGNITION: Diamond Fork Scout District held its first adult recognition banquet on March 11, 2010. 109 scouters received the "Baden Boot" award. This is the first of three possible district awards an adult scouter can receive. The "Second Miler" award was presented to 64 leaders. This is the second highest award given on the district level. Most leaders receiving this award have worked in scouting for five or more years. The "District Award of Merit" is the highest award given on a district level. Ten leaders were presented this award. "Do A Good Turn Daily" awards were presented to five citizens for their contributions to our community. These citizens are Bill Summers, Jim Atwood, Alien Holt, Julie Anderson and Maribel Rees. Spanish Fork Youth Theatre Courtesy photo WONDERFUL WIZARD: After months of rehearsals, The Spanish Fork Youth Theatre is ready to bring the magic of "The Wizard Of Oz" to the stage. Under the direction of Karma Christensen, over 100 area youth are ready to leave Kansas and go to the Emerald City. Assisting Karma is the assistant director and costume designer, Heather Allred; choreographer, Laura Brockbank; and music director, Carni Jensen. Performances will be Thursday and Friday, March 25 and 26 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 27 at 2 p.m. All performances will be in the Spanish Fork High School auditorium.
