Officer 2 | ^ Elementary Registration Spanish Fork Area Elementary Registration for all new and returning students will be held Thursday, July 30, 2009, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. What happens at registration varies according to school, but many schools offer the following: Information Card: Fill out new information with contacts and emergency information. Materials/Information: You will receive calendars, schedules and other info for the year.Activity Donation: There is a onetime donation of $20 per child for class activities.School Lunch: Pay for school lunch. Freereduced applications will also be available.PTA : Sign-up for volunteers. School T-shirts: Order school shirts to be worn throughout the year. Kindergarten: Sign up for Kindergarten assessment times. Class lists may also be posted. It is critical that all schools get an accurate accounting of school enrollment. To achieve this, all students must register on or before July 30, 2009. If you are unavailable to attend that day, please contact the school. If you have new neighbors, please tell them about registration. Notices Courtesy photo OUTSTANDING: Spanish Fork's Officer Bryan DeWitt recently attended the twoweek training to become certified to teach DARE at our local elementary schools. At the conclusion of the training he received the award of "Outstanding DARE Officer" from the instructors of the class. Officer DeWitt is an outstanding officer with a friendly attitude. The SFPD are proud of his accomplishment and are happy that he will be able to interact with the elementary aged kids in Spanish Fork.
