Show ]jfestyles Coveting what matters most A4 • WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25, 2008 Weddings Eagle Scout Jacob Henry On June 8, 2008 Boy Scout Jacob Henry, 15, a member of Troop 1539 in Spanish Fork was honored at a special Court of Honor for achieving the Eagle Scout Award, Boy ' Scouting's highest honor. Jacob is the son of Russell and Laura Henry. He is the first Eagle Scout in Troop 1539, chartered by the Aspen Heights Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. To become an Eagle Scout, Jacob earned 21 merit badges and served his troop in a variety of leadership roles. He also completed a major community service project. For his project, Jacob built a library and organized a book drive for the Family Lounge in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit of the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo. He was able to collect approximately 600 books for the new library. The books are being used all over the hospital by family members waiting long hours for the newborn babies in the Newborn ICU, mothers on bed rest and other patients who cannot get out of their beds as well as other reception areas in the hospital. Jacob will be a sophomore at Spanish Fork High School in the fall. He enjoys writing, playing the tuba for the school band, piano, and basketball. Jacob plans to attend BYU and later to become an author. Takasaki, Alleman Roman and Elizabeth Ann Takasaki are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Aimee Sachiko to David Scott Alleman, son of David Starr and Linda Alleman. They will be married on July 3, 2008 in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. All friends and family are invited to attend a reception held in their honor that evening at the Northampton House, 198 West 300 North, American Fork. Aimee is a graduate of Spanish Fork High School and is currently continuing her studies at Brigham Young University. She plans to graduate with a degree in Military Appreciation Event When: Wednesday, June 25,12-10 p.m. Where: Hollywood Connection in West Valley City, across from the E Center. What: Hollywood Connection will be hosting a Military Appreciation event for service mem-, bers from ALL branches of the military — and for their families, neighbors and friends. They will need to check in at the military booth to get their special military wristbands. Admission will be free, as will all rides, roller skating and the children's play place. All other activities and food will be drastically discounted for all military members and their guests. These include mini golf for $1, laser tag for $3, and a 25% discount on all food items. There will be a special Patriotic Kids Parade. Parents are encouraged to dress children in red, white and blue. Piano Performance. Aimee served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Germany Munich/Austria Mission. Davey is a graduate of Bingham High School and is also doing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. He is majoring in Economics with plans to go to dental school. He served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Honduras Comayagua Mission and the Alaska Anchorage Mission. Davey and Aimee will make their first home in Provo. Pergegaj, Hall Irena Gjin Pergegaj of Bruce and Julie Hall will marry Jordan Hall of Spanish Fork. He is a on June 28 in the Salt graduate of Spanish Fork Lake Temple.
