The Faculty, Staff, and Students of Art City Elementary wish to bid her a fond farewell and wish her the best of luck at her new school. We know they will love her too! Larsen Spanish Oaks Courtesy photos IMAGINATIVE GADGETS: It was all about catapults, games, and other imaginative gadgets Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Spanish Oaks Elementary when the second graders had their Invention Convention. All second graders came up with their own invention and had it on display for parents and other grade levels to see. Everyone had a lot of fun both making the inventions and coming to see them. Courtesy photo CREATIVE KIDS: More students participated in the Reflections Contest this year than usual. Students submitted pictures, 3D artwork, music, dance pieces, video work and more! Students from every grade level participated and some students entered more than four different types of artwork in the contest. Salem Courtesy photo A BIG BUNCH OF TURKEYS: For over 30 years Salem Elementary has crowned the school's top Turkey Gobblers as part of their Thanksgiving celebrations. The tradition continues to thrill the student body and the competition is remains strong.
