Show May 2011 Page OBITUARIES MUM Max Linden Heaton Max Linden Heaton passed away on May 6, 2011 at his home in Boulder, Utah. He was born on January 28, 1926 in Hurricane, Utah to Joseph Linden Heaton and Phyllis Lovinia Webb Heaton. Max graduated from Hurricane High School in 1943. On December 14, 1944 he married Virgil Pulsipher in the St. George Temple and they had 6 children. Max worked for Arden Dairy in Las Vegas, Nevada and later moved to Elmo, Utah where he ran a ranch with his father and brother Harvard. Max also worked for Emery Mining Company for many years. Max enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, collecting arrowheads and rocks, and collecting and working on HO scale trains. Max's wife Virgil passed away in January, 2011. He was also preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Joseph Heaton and Roma Littlefield; and children, Christina, Dina, and Keith. Max is survived by children, David (Susan) Heaton, Elora Prettyman, all of Boulder, Utah; and Kathy (Tim) McGee of Protem, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; siblings, Colleen (Marlan) Walker, Glen Heaton, Mona (Ernie) Ketchum, Harvard (Sharon) Heaton, Sharen Draayer, and Paul (Nolleen) Heaton. A memorial open house will be held in Max's honor on Saturday, May 21, 2011, from 1:00-3:OOpm at the Boulder LDS Church in Boulder, Utah. Burial will be in the Elmo Town Cemetery. The family would like to thank Beaver Valley Hospice and all the volunteers who helped care for Max. Robert "Bob" Crosby Robert Glen Crosby, age 56 years young, was taken from us on May 12, 2011 from injuries sustained from a Harley accident. He was born on Feb 16, 1955 in Panguitch, Utah to Arthur Glen and Beverly Roe Crosby. He married Debbie Duggins July 9, 1976; from the marriage he had two children, MaKenzie and Bobby, later divorced and married Tonja Kaye Myers on January 22, 1995 where he became the father of Season, Kyann, Dacota, and Shawni. Bob spent his life working in the power industry. He worked for Dixie Escalante for 18 years. A job that he was great at and loved to do. He was a man very full of life. To know him was to love him. No other person had a bigger heart than he; his time was handed to anyone in need. Robert loved spending time with family and his grandkids. He never lacked for activity planning..... Boating, camping fishing, hunting were real family crowd pleasers. He was always an avid Harley lover, but once the kids were raised he hit the open road, nothing pleased him more than a little spray mist and a clean towel to bring out the shine on the Springer. He is survived by his children Makenzie Rasmussen (Jacson)Roosevelt Utah, Bobby Crosby, Season Ence, Kyann (Bentley), Dacota Dacus, and Shawni Dacus; All of St. George Utah; grand children Bausten, Tracen, Brinley, Laken, Addyson, Taizlie, Mollee and Jerzi , also his sweet friend that brought back his smile Valarie Arnone. He was welcomed into heaven by his wife Tonja whom preceded him in death March 3rd 2010, father Arthur and many other Aunts and Uncles. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bloomington Hills Stake Center, 1130 E. Brigham Rd, St. George, UT. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 16 from 6pm to 8pm at the Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George, UT and on Tuesday at the chapel from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the Beaver Cemetery. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the staff of Dixie Regional Medical Center for their attentive and tender care.
