Roman Platt also became a Deacon and he is the son of Nathan and Lori Platt of Henrieville. Released in working in the Primary are Guy Thompson, Shawn Chynoweth, Lori Platt, Sage Roundy, and Collette Mathews with a vote of thanks. Our prayers and thoughts will be with Hayden Adkins as he goes to Primary Children's Hospital for surgery on his hand this week. We wish him the very best and hope he is up and around quickly. Hayden is the son of Lori Lei Adkins of Henrieville The Youth all met in Tropic to attend a Stake Fireside. The speakers were Pres. Klin Chynoweth, Counselors Alan Torgersen and Kerry Alvey of the Stake Presidency. There were special musical numbers done by Karen Bybee of Enoch. She is married to Shawn Bybee who is from Tropic. She sang special numbers and spoke a few times and she has a beautiful voice. Donna Chynoweth made her wonderful big homemade cinnamon rolls for refreshment. They are to die for I was told. The Stake Young Women were in charge and the Stake Young Men did the refreshment. It was a good meeting in all. Dirk Durfey, Kayson Durfey, and Daniel Munson spoke in Henrieville today and the choir sang a special arrangement of "There Is a Green Hill Far Away". In Tropic youth speakers were Hayden Johnson and Lexi Le Fevre. Ray Barney spoke with them. Another short column week. Hope everyone has a great Easter on Sunday the 24th and the weather holds out for all the egg hunts that are planned. When I was young we used to go up to the State Capitol and roll our eggs down the lawn there. There was always alot of others doing the same. Can't do it anymore they have too many buildings up on the grounds. Have a great week and please call or email your news to me.
