Our girls Volley Ball team went to State and won their first game and lost the next two but they had a good experience and everyone at home is very proud of them for their wonderful sportsmanship and good behavior. Congratulations to Coach Dana Courtright and all the girls on the Volley Ball team of Bryce Valley HS. The High School and the Elementary will be having Parent/Teacher Conferences on Wed. and Friday this week. On Thursday the High School will be participating in a Science Fair. Planned for the 6th of November and sponsored by the Sophmores at BVHS will be a Dinner and Talent Show. They will be serving bread soup bowls with Chicken Noodle soup. There will be some wonderful prizes for the Talent Show and you will be seeing a lot of local talent. Come out and support the students. The PTA Sponsored a wonderful event called the Hunted Forest for two nights. It was very successful. Thanks is extended to all who participated in it and for all who supported it. Thanks to the PTA for their great work with the events at our schools. The Fourth Graders at BVE were treated to a great learning experience when the University of Utah Museum On The Move came to their classroom and taught them about the animals of Utah. It was a wonderful adventure for the students. We would also like to thank the PTA Room Mothers for the fun classrooom parties they helped with. Thanks also goes out to all the trick-or-treating kids who came around. They were wonderful and very well behaved. No problems whatsoever. Congratulations to Kirsten Shakespear on her engagement. She will be getting married on January 6th and we are very excited for her. Her parents are Carl and Kay Shakespear of Tropic. On Friday of this week will be the wedding reception for Randy Barton and his new bride Jimena to be held at the Heritage Center in Tropic. Congratulations to the newlyweds.
