Peterson Graduated The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science dsgree through the Community College of the Air Force. Peterson earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Cindy Peterson of E. Highway 153, Beaver, Utah. Peterson is a 2004 graduate of Beaver High School. Time is running out for you to get your car ready for the Demotion Derby. This year's derby is August 15th at 6:30 at the fair grounds in Minersville. Car inspections will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. the day of the derby. This year again we will have a mini car figure 8 race with a $700 first place prize, so if you have a mini car, please register early. This is a limited entry event to ihe first 12 cars. Also this year, if you haven't heard, we will do a pro stock heat. This includes Chrysler Imperials. The prize for this heat will also be $500.
