Lt Keith Draper Beaver County Correctional Facility Beaver County 4-H meets with great enthusiasm every year in the summer to clean up the Highway around the Beaver County fairgrounds. A total of 82 youth and leaders take there large garbage bags and head for the highway to clean up unwanted litter. What a wonderful service project to improve and beautify the highway. As you drive by notice how nice it looks not to see trash on this highway. You can thank your local Beaver County 4-H volunteer leaders and youth for keeping this highway stretch clean. There are a lot of efforts being made by terrific people in our county each year to give service to our communities. Thanks so much to a!! that participated in our Highway clean up project. She is the daughter of Lynn and Leslie Kitchen and will be Sophomore at BHS. Emily stars in many theater productions for the High School and the community, She is active in BHS softball and is consistently on the Honor Roll. Emily earned her Young Womanhood Award by, completing 42 value goals, and over 70 hours of projects. But most of all she gave service to others and built a personal testimony of Jesus Cnnsi A few of her projects included reading the Book of Mormon, donating Humanitarian Aid school kits, volunteering at the Festival of Trees in Salt Lake City, and acting in the Ward Roadshow. Emily, your family, friends, and leaders congratulate you! Beaver River 5-K Run We would like to take this opportunity to thank ell those who participated in the run this year. We had 170 people participate from 4 years old up to 60 years old. It was a great way to start off the days activities. Thanks goes to Beaver travel council for their great support along'with Alan Raddon our timer, and Vickie Hutchings who drove the bus for us. The Search and Rescue is always there controlling traffic every year.
