Wednesday Feb. 29, a lawyer for the Utah Transit Authority told lawmakers that last year there were 24 crashes involving trains and cars. Demetrius Hewlin passed away on Tuesday morning along with Russell King, Jr. They both died from wounds suffered in the shooting. Daniel Parmertor was the first victim. Two other victims are still in the hospital. T.J. Lane, admitted his involvement in the shooting and is expected to be tried as an adult. After an intense political battle, Romney narrowly beat out Santorum and won the Michigan primary. Romney also claimed victory in Arizona. The Republican candidates are now campaigning in anticipation for Super Tuesday. The U.S. Coast Guard recovered three bodies from a helicopter crash in Alabama's Mobile Bay. The crash occurred Tuesday last week during a mission from the Aviation Training Center. The search has now been suspended with one person still missing. An Italian cruise ship that was disabled reached the shores of Seychelles on March 1. A fire had started in the engine room on Feb. 27, which left the ship drifting in the ocean. Two tug- boats pulled the cruise liner to shore. Costa Cruises has offered passengers a compensation package. Citizens of Iran voted for the first time since 2009 when the voting triggered protests. There are roughly 3,400 candidates looking to fill 290 seats in the parliamentary election. About 48 million people are eligible to vote and the Interior Ministry predicted a 60 percent voter turnout, which would be roughly 29 million people voting.
