Show Pacers lose another game AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) - Tayshaun Prince scored all of his 17 points in the second half to lead six double-digit scorers for the Detroit Pistons in a 9873 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday. Detroit (62-15) is a victory away from matching its franchise record for wins and barring a late slide, will likely finish with the NBAs best record. The Pistons already have home-court advantage throughout the conference playoffs and are 35-3 at The Palace. Indiana has lost seven of eight to fall a season-worst four-games under .500 and is in danger of not making the playoffs after starting the season as a title contender. Detroit's Lindsey Hunter (14), Tony Delk (11) and Antonio McDyess (10) provided a scoring boost off the bench. Richard Hamilton scored 12 and Chauncey Billups had 11 points and five assists scoring. Ben Wallace had a season-high 22 rebounds. Stephen Jackson led the Pacers with 15 points on 4~of-12 shooting, Jermaine O'Neal had 12 and Peja Stojakovic added 11. Nets 95, Bucks 83 MILWAUKEE (AP) - Vince Carter scored 25 points and Jason Kidd had a triple-double to lead New Jersey in a potential firstround playoff preview. It was the Nets' third straight victory over the Bucks, who haven't beaten New Jersey since November. New Jersey got back on track after its 14-game winning streak was snapped Saturday by Cleveland. Milwaukee lost its fourth straight and fell three games below .500, its low mark this season. Raymond Felton had 10 points and 12 assists while Primoz Brezec, with 17 points and eight rebounds, was the only starter not to earn a double-double. Mike James scored 32 points for the Raptors, who have lost eight in a row. Matt Bonner scored 14 points while little-used Loren Woods added 10. Knicks 101, Celtics 86 BOSTON (AP) - Jamal Crawford scored 31 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead New York over Boston. The victory was the Knicks1 third straight, just their second three gamewinning streak this season. The No. 3 match was the closest of them all, with the make-shift pairing of senior Lindsey Bennion and freshman Bridgette Strickland taking the match to a tie-breaker before losing 9-8 to Weber's Karla Pretorius and McKaye Badger. In singles competition things went much the same as they have before in Logan. The Aggies once again took the No. 1, 2 and 3 spots before losing at the No. 4, 5 and 6 spots. At No. 1, Bennion defeated Smit 6-3, 6-3. At No. 2, Smith took three sets to secure a 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 victory over Hie. At No. 3, Anderson recorded her team-high 13th singles win of the season with a 6-1, 6-2 dismissal of Pienaar. Nelson, on the other hand, had a much tougher time at the No. 4 spot, losing her match 6-3, 6-2 to Pretorius. Moving up from the No. 6 spot in Barker's absence, Monson lost 6-2, 6-1, to Venditto who increased her singles winning streak to four with the win. Playing in her first singles match this season, Strickland failed to win a game in the second set, losing to Ashley Schapper, 6-4, 6-0. "Everybody competed well and fought for everything," Coach Christian Wright said. "I can't ask anything more from those who competed." Wright also said he felt Barkers absence could have played a part in the outcome of the match. "I definitely think it was a factor," he said, "It would've been nice to have her out there with the experience that she has.
