The All-American gymnast is now on the ballot for the Academic All-America list. Tidd, who has yet to declare a major, boasts a 3.87 GPA. On the mat, she was one of the most * valuable Red Rocks, earning three All-America awards at the 2005 NCAA Championships. Runnin* Utes add a non-conference tilt The U men's basketball team has finalized game with Washington State for the 20052006 season. The game will be played Dec. 22 at Key Arena in Seattle and will count as a home game for the Cougars. WSU finished with a 12-16 record last season, finishing seventh in the Pac-10. Utah starter Matt Crockett (4-10) was shelled for seven runs in his 5.1 innings of work. All-conference SDSU second baseman Lance Zawadski drove in three runs and had three hits—including his 10th homer of the season—to lead the way, while Quinton Berry, James Guerrero and Kasey Perry had two RBI apiece. Despite the Utes' early offense, SDSU still led 5-3 after three innings and once Campbell (2-0) was sent to the mound, it was all over for Utah. The 6-foot sophomore struck outfiveand walked two in six innings to earn the win. "He really came in and kind of stopped all our momentum," U head coach Bill Kinneberg said. After defeating Utah the Aztecs (26-35, l9~ 15 MWC) closed their season with a 14-3 loss to eventual tournament champion UNLV Friday night.
