Show game warden needed for south end of utah lake george wheelon of the duck club and hyrum hanson well known resident of goshen were in lureka on oil thuressa Thur la and state that there is going to be some excellent cat fishing on the club clubs s property during the coming spring already the fish are commencing to bite and a little warm weather is all that Is needed to insure some good sport tor for people who understand the habits and moods of these toothsome little fish wheelon and hanson say that ducks have been plentiful on the marsh land surrounding the lake for some weeks and that while the law prohibits spring shooting a large number of these birds haye have been kill ed local people who are interested in the protection of fish and game have written to the state game corn com missioner asking that some of the state funds be spent in the enforce ment of the game laws particularly in the vicinity of the tintic gintic club clubs s holdings there are 5 acres of swamp land there and unless a game warden receives some remuneration he cannot be expected to spend his time in looking after the game an effort will be made to have mr wheelon appointed as a deputy game warden with a small monthly salary |
