M at ALTO TO there seems to be a likelihood of an auto club being organized here in the tintic gintic district this matter is being discussed by some of the car owners and it is meeting with favor on every hand of course it is hard for motorists to get up enthusiasm when the ther mome er is hovering around zero and when the sun Is having baving such a difficult time fighting its way through the storm clouds but even the most confirmed pessi mist now admits that summer Is coming it may be some distance away but ti ere can be no question but what there will be a tew few months ot of warm weather before the end of 1917 an auto club could no doubt be of considerable benefit here in tin Us and surely there are cars enough here to give the organization a sub stant lal membership ft each auto owner in this district would join a club of this kind and pay in a small monthly tee fee it would be possible to do arlot a lot of good with the money mone some of it could be spent in repair ing bad pieces of road cloe at hand jobs which need immediate at and which are not eapen sive and then the club could send a lele gatlon to attend meetings of county commissioners tor for the pur pose of urging action on road im prove ments
