The proposal was discussed by officials from the Utah Greater Road Commission, of ComOgden Chamber merce, City Council, City Planning Commission and city school board members following a regular City Council meeting. State Road Commission officials told the council there were alternatives to consider which would alleviate the traffic problem. One was to widen 12th Street to handle four lanes of traffic; and the other to convert the two streets into a couplet, with 12th Street handling westbound traffic and 13th Street handling eastbound.
