Dr. Sellers, chairman of Division of Religon, said I appreciate the honor so much because chose me. the students themselves Each year Ricks students go to the palls and select the teacher they feel had the greatest influence on their lives during the year. Dr. Sellers is bishop of the Ricks College 10th Ward. He is former director of the Institute of Religion in Ogden, Utah, and last year was on- - the Brigham Young University Education Week program with Pres. Alvin R. Dyer, of the First Presidency, and Elder Marion Hanks, Assistant to the Twelve. The recipient, a Rexburg native, attended Ricks in 1952. He recieved B.S., M.S., and Ed. HYDE PARK, UTAH: Family Stars At USU Members of the Morris H. Taylor family of Hyde Park have' a remarkable scholastic and Church record. Five members of the family received six degrees during commencement exercises at Utah State University June 7. Family members have earned a total of 15 college degrees, 10 of them at USU. Two family members have been college valedictorians. Two sons and a daughter received masters uegrees; the daughter, a son and the British Mission and is now treasurer of the USU 2nd Stake MIA. Grant is Priesthood organist, MH chorister and a Sunday School teacher. Dr. Taylor has held a number of Church positions including Sunday School superintendent, and is now High Priests group leader in the Hyde Park 2nd Ward. Mrs. Taylor is a Sunday School teacher. That brought to 10 the total number of degrees earned at Utah State by family members, beginning with Dr. Taylor's B.S. in agricultural economics from Utah State in 1937. At USU's June 7 exercises, the Taylors oldest son Gordon received his masters degree; their second son, Gary, received a masters; their eldest daughter, Mrs. Genan Taylor Anderson, received a bachelors degree and was valedictorian of the College of Family Life. A third son, Graig, received his bachelors degree. Genans h"sband, Wayne Jay Anderson, received his bachelors degree in physics. Mrs. Taylor, the former Beth Hobbs of Nephi, is a graduate registered nurse from Salt Lake LDS Hospital, a fellow of the American College of Nursing Administrators and is listed in Who's Who in America. The Taylors' Church record is similarly imp: essive. Gordon, Gary, and Graig Taylor and Wayne Anderson have all served missions, and Grant is looking forward to going soon. Gordon is now MIA superintendent of the Newport News Ward, Virginia, and was secretaiy of the Gulf Slates Mission. Gary was assistant to the president in George was one of two Coloradans- - -among 30 prep wrestlers in the country named to the Scholastic Wrestling News ' Wrestling team. He was placed on the honorable mention roster by the nations Wrestling Coaches Association, which publishes the magazine. BOISE: 3 Missionaries From One Family Three from one family from Boise, Idaho are currently serving in mission fields of the Church. Two sisters and a brother, children of Mr. and Mrs. Robert D.
