Show 20 DESEREl NEWS, Thursday, May 15, 1969 ANNUAL BANQUET Aggies Honor A thletes Jack Mooney LOGAN Pocatello, Idaho, who played numerous positions on the last three USU football teams received the Memorial Wayne Estes Award at the annual USU Letterman s banquet Wednesday. The award is given o the senior athlete of who has achieved the greatest success in scholarship, citizenship and leadership. It is presented in memory of Wayne Estes, the USU basketball player who was e!ectrocued in a tragic 1965 accident. The Pocatello athelte, a senior, enroued at Utah State in 1965 after a steiling prep athletic career that saw him win (Idaho) football honors as a fullback and state golf championship while at Pocatello High.
