Show wTj Spans Generation Gap! nn By ROSE MARY PEDERSEN Deseret News Staff Writer Whether you happen to be ice young or skating is the in thing to do this winter. t, young-at-hear- It's great exercise . . . it's a dandy way to meet people and make new friends . . . and, most of all, its lots and LOTS of fun! We know this for a fact, because we went cut to Hygeia Iceland the other morning and saw some people skating away. LITTLE TOTS There were adorable little tots in the vicinity of three. The tots, who are just learning how much fun it can be out on the rink, take ice skating lessons ton, age 74, and Dan Garbett, age 71, whirling around the rink. We asked th m just how long they had been skating. Mrs Fenton, grandmother of eight (all of them skate, too), said she had been going to ice rinks ever since she was eight years old. Mr. Garbett said he had been skating ever since the tender age of ten. We asked them just why they enjoyed it so much.
