Show commercial club at provo after county commissioners the members of the commercial Comm ercul club at prove provo and those who belong to civic organizations in other towns in utah county are not feeling very good toward their county commission era ers who have neglected the wagon road leading lead ng into the tintic gintic district until there is now danger of the busi ness from the camps of tintic gintic being diverted through tooele thoele county utah county business men know where a good portion of their busi ness is coming from and naturally they are anxious to retain this bus ness it if they lose it because their present incompetent board loard of county commissioners refuse to spend a lit tie tic money on one of the count s most important wagon roads an aw ful kick is sure to be registered when the utah county commission era ers held their meeting at provo last monday two members of the provo commercial club appeared and asked tor for improvements on the wagon road leading to the tintic gintic D strict they were informed that the board already has this matter under consideration and had done some work on the tintic gintic road and expected to do more as means of the county will pern it the county commissioner neglected to spy soy that the entire summer of 1915 was taken up in building a few in I 1 lea es of road bet between cen n and warm creek when it could have been corn com plated in one third of the time and as a result the road aint t f ft t for travel any time during the year they also neglected to tell the members of the provo commercial club that the money spent on improvements b tn taden Hom IIo anaville and the summit was practically thrown away because would not authorize the eapen deture of a little additional cash f for 0 r the graveling of the road it will be b e unfit for use this spring when a good road would be appreciated there is a mountain of gravel close at hand and the cost of gravel ng the road would have been trifling the highly intelligent commiss boners of L altah tab county also failed to tell the corn com mercial club members that business men of eureka have each year been in the habit of contributing time and money in order to make fit for travel a wagon road which is wholly within the lines of another county who are familiar with the manner in which road work has been handled in that section of utah coun ty w which ich is nearest to tintic gintic sa that it is a sort of family affair and tha the road men are afraid to hurry matters for fear that their relatives laties re and close friends will not have cm em throughout the summer months |
