| Show STREET CAR COLLIDES WITH AUTO sunday afternoon while going up the hill near the E E cheney farm south of this city the city electric car crashed into a ford automobile which was being driven by mr air win napper V t S L agent at smithfield accompanied by his wife they were just driving out ot of the walker yard and did not notice the approaching car which was very near the crossing when mr air espied the auto on the track directly in head of him lie applied the brakes and reversed the motors but the car struck the machine with sufficient force to smash it up considerable and mrs napper suffered some soma severe severe bruises on her right thigh and leg she sh e being on the side which came in contact with tile the street car the lady was given medical attention and was washable bable to continue her journey home on the electric car but the ford had to go to uie the hospital where it is now receiving treatment |
