An excellent faculty of educational speakers in the EMT field will be on hand to update EMTs on emergency medicine. Topics to be covered include burn care, cardiac problems related to stress, obstetrics, emergency pediatric trauma and drug abuse and emergency care. Other subjects include infectious diseases and the EMT, orthopedic injuries, shock, disaster management, diabetics, death, dying and the EMT, and other classes. Utah Summer Games begin June 20-2- 5 in Cedar City Over 5,000 amateur athletes will compete in 2 1 different sports in the 1988 Utah Summer games, June in Cedar City. Fourteen hundred of the athletes will be coming from the four regional competitions held throughout Utah in April and May. The opening Regional Trials for the southern region of Utah had been held in Salina in April. The caliber of athletes that will be competing in Cedar City is terrific, said Rich Wilson, Executive Director of the Games. The Utah Summer Games will highlight some of Utahs finest amateur ath- and 1,000 athletes are projected to participate in track and field competition. 20-2- 5 letes.
