| Show ELECTRIC LIGHTS FOR BEAR MER on wednesday evening or of this week dear river city will stage a grand festival or jubilee in fit commemoration of the advent ot of electricity into the community the alic city has purchased current from the utah power and light company and practically every home commercial house and public building has been wired and will be illuminated by electricity the people feel so good that they have arranged a grand program of sports and huge posters have been printed announcing noun cing the event which have been hung up in every part of the bear river valley inviting the people from everywhere to bear river city next wednesday and join in the celebration the days program includes various features during the afternoon and evening commencing at 8 a grand band concert will be rendered and an open air program consisting of speeches music and reminiscences will be given at 9 a carnival dance will be given in the opera house music to be furnished by two bi big orchestras and an admission of 75 cents will be charged at midnight a sumptuous free luncheon will be served everybody after which good nights will be said and turning in ili tor for the night will end the festivities gear bear river city never does anything by halves the splendid community spirit which characterizes everything ery thing attempted in our hustling sister city across the river is an absolute guarantee of the success of the movement everybody from everywhere ery where is invited to join in the big ratification of securing electricity for the city tomorrow evening |
