their Richfield store last November A year that has brought new services increased products and an awareness from area shoppers that Roger's is a great place to shop Roger Terry owner of Roger’s Market commented on their first year of business in Richfield "Our customers in this area arc great and have been very receptive to what we are try ing to do here We have many comments from our customers about our service and product selections We listen closely to what our customers have to say about the store after all providing what our customers want in a grocery store is the bottom line of being successful in this business "We do our best to implement changes where needed and strive to get the products our customers want We appreciate the support our customers and the trust they have put in us "The most important thing for me right now is for our customers to know that we arc here and plan to be here for a long time to come" Terry said The Roger's Market store in Richfield was designed from the ground up to be a grocery store Every inch of its 32(XX) square feet of space is utilized to make shopping a more enjoyable experience "This store was built with the most modern features in the industry" Terry said We are extremely proud of it and equally proud to be a part of the Richfield business commu- nity" While it may not be immediately evident to the shopper the layout and configuration of merchandise and relationship of one section to another arc all part of today’s modem methods of bringing the customer the best in service and quality One of the newest features to Roger’s Market is their Moose Brothers Pizza booth At first customers couldn't believe that such great tasting pizza could come out of a grocery store It hasn't taken long for them to get used to it Moose Brothers Pizza will make their pizza to each customer's own personal specifications They continue to experiment on new pizza recipes such as their new cheeseburger pizza It sounds shopping experience as pleasant as possible Roger Terry a 26 year veteran in the grocery business said his participation with Associated Foods the Intermountain West's largest grocery cooperative has proven to be "the best thing I could have done" Terry opened his first store in Morgan in 1984 after working for Bowman's in Kaysville his hometown for many years After an eight year stint as Bowman's manager Terry decided it was time to open his own business and built a store in Morgan a community badly in need of a supermarket The Western Family line of groceries which is a brand name of Associated Foods provides highest quality at lowest prices Terry said "It is really an advantage to our customers for us to be part of Associated Food Stores" Terry said He said there are almost 800 independently ow ned stores in the western states involved with Associated Foods all of whom own shares in The cooperative accounts the co-o- p for of the grocery sales in Utah Terry explained The store is open seven days a week from 6 a m to 1 1 pm There arc presently 55 employees Terry Waters a Richfield native is the manager of Roger's Market in Richfield Waters has had many cars in the grocery business and strives to keep the store well stocked clean and a pleasant place to shop To help with this Terry invites customers to call him with any suggestions or comments they may have "We
