They decided to make it three dimensional, almost billboard style, with lots of picture elements. The tree is decorated with ball ornaments and has the Air Force symbol as the star. The four presents underneath the tree reflect different parts of the LRS, with other holiday graphic elements including a gingerbread man holding a sign saying "Seasons Greetings" and two crossed candy canes. Attached to the top is "75 LRS" cut out of aluminum — another artistic element used to enhance the card. As can be seen in the photo, a miniature solar panel helps illuminate it at night. "The squadron's morale was pretty high already," said Giardino. "We all worked hard (on this), the work was fun and we continue to work every day and we just won't stop."
