The fiesta was well attended and the weather was perfect for the event. The festival, held at Centennial Park this year more than doubled in size. KIM COOK/Hilltop Times his year the Hill AFB "Brewfest" was dubbed a total success. The third annual event doubled in size of patron participation and community support. The change of location from the parking lot of The Landing, to Centennial Park was a wonderful choice. It provided room for the expanded car rally, plenty of shade for family fun or sipping the suds and munching on a wing or two. The car show this year was well represented with a vintage '68 VW Bug, 1969 Mustang Fastback, and a couple of exceptional custom Duce Coups to name a few. Local Utah microbrews were showcased along with distilled spirits from Park City. Music provided by the Scotty Hayes Rock Band, played cover songs from present artists as well as good old rock and roll. Thirteen year old Utah native and Park City resident, Sophia Dion, an up-and-comer on the local music scene showcased a few new songs off her album, soon to be released on See BREWFEST I page 10 |
