LLOYD/U.S. Air Force Wingman Sexual Assault Awareness Luncheon BY CATHERINE MCNALLY Hilltop Times staff H ill's Wingman Advocates have teamed up with the SARC to produce a Wingman Sexual Assault Awareness Luncheon, which will be held at 11:30 a.m. on April 30 at Club Hill. The luncheon will feature guest speaker Jodi Carlson, sister to Judge Advocate Lt. Col. Craig Burton. Carlson was raised in South Ogden and, as a survivor of sexual abuse, has spoken to many groups through- out Utah, including the Children's Justice Center, the National Children's Alliance, the Utah State Law Enforcement Association, and more. Additional information on sexual assault awareness and prevention, as well as resources, will be provided at the luncheon by Safe Harbor, the Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault, and others. Youth Pitch, Run and Throw contest T years of age, is °Pen t0 he Colorado Rockies Major League Baseball Team Pitch, Hit and Run contest for youth will be held at the Little League Field next to the Warrior Fitness Center, April 24,2:30 p.m. Pre-registration begins at 2 p.m. The skills contest consists of pitching a baseball, running the bases and then hitting a ball off a tee for distance and accuracy.
