Show HILLTOP TIMES CHILI COOK-OFF CONTRIBUTION NEWS BRIEFS Kids' pow wow at Hill Field School R egistration goes until Dec. 1 for the Aerospace Expeditionary Force family retreat or until all slots are full. The Hill Air Force Base Chaplain Office reports it already has more than 80 registered but there is always some shuffling around toward the deadline so some slots could open. Any Team Hill military member or his or her spouse is eligible for the retreat. Priority is given to those who are about to leave for deployment but they will also give some priority to those who have recently deployed or spouses of those who are currently deployed. Those interested should contact the first sergeant responsible for their unit or they may register directly at the chapel. The cost for the whole weekend is $50 per family. If there is a financial need, registration fees may be waived but it has been found that people are more committed to the program if they are asked to pay even a relatively small amount. Operation COPE is a Chaplain-led, collaborative effort among all Team Hill wings and organizations. The cornerstone of Operation COPE, is the threeday, two-night retreat designed to help Team Hill airmen and their families with the entire deployment process.
