One lane of traffic will be open in each direction from 5 p.m. Friday through 5 p.m. Saturday. Motorists are asked to use caution when entering and exiting this area. The road is being dug up to lay new electrical cable underground. Bridge renovation causes restrictions The Utah Department of Transportation has been rehabilitating the bridge outside the base's West Gate at the 650 North (Exit 335, S.R. 103) interchange in Clearfield. Motorists should expect lane restrictions through Friday on 650 North under the Interstate 15 bridges as crews apply a fiberreinforced membrane to the underside of the bridges. Base employees are encouraged to use the Roy Gate and Southwest Gate as alternate routes during the construction. A comprehensive list of all UDOT construction projects statewide is available online at www.udot.utah.gov under the "Projects and Studies" tab. UDOT advises motorists to reduce speeds and use caution when driving through work zones. Construction schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather, equipment problems or emergency situations. Steam outage planned Saturday A steam outage is planned from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday in Buildings 507, 508 and 509. It is being conducted to replace a leaking 4-inch condensate line between buildings 505 and 507 before freezing weather sets in. Build-a-package event coming up The Airman & Family Readiness Hearts Apart program will be assisting in preparing care packages for deployed military members on Wednesday. Parada. As a federal employee for more than 30 years, he has dedicated his lif e to improving the operations that are vital to the overall efforts of the Air Force so it can be more productive. This award is the highest one given to senior executives in government work". Only 2 percent, or 331 Senior Executive Service personnel, is given this prestigious award each year. Parada's base commander nominated him for the award. "They have shown an above-average work ethic and go much farther in motivating their staff to try new things that will benefit the Air Force.
