Dick Crampton, Officer Placement Service for the Military Officers Association of America deputy director. Mr. Crampton will introduce the realities of competition in the civilian job market; the perceptions civilian employers have of military personnel; a plan for the job search; tips for strengthening the resume; networking plans; preparing for and conducting a successful interview; and salary negotiations and benefit packages. Resumes and bids will be accepted until June 15. + Munitions inventory The 649th Munitions Squadron is conducting an inventory of the depot stockpile through June 15. Zachariah Debolt at 777-5444. + Pet show There will be a free Bark in the Park pet show June 20,1-5 p.m, at Centennial Park. Activities include a pet and owner look alike,contest, best pet trick contest and a child and dog cake walk. There will be pet photos, giveaways and prizes. Also, a military working dog demonstration is scheduled for 3 p.m. month. One winner from each housing area will be announced on the last Thursday of each month. Winners will receive a check for $100, an American flag and a certificate of appreciation. The criterion for judging includes neat carports, patios, shrubs and edging. Judges will also look at flower beds, weeds and other aspects of the yard. Residents are reminded that the Self-Help program offers grass seed and power tools for sign out at 3303 Liberty Way. >> Steak night •> Chapel services The Hill Air Force Base Chapel will not be holding any Protestant or Catholic services on Hill Air Force Base June 24. Instead, everyone is invited to attend a 12:15 p.m. Catholic Mass and 1 p.m. Protestant service at Wolf Mountain during the Air Expeditionary Force Retreat Program. The Hubbard Golf Course holds Steak Night every Wednesday and Saturday, 47 p.m., on the patio at the gold course. The meal includes a half-pound New York steak, baked potato, vegetable, salad and beverage. Reservations are suggested. The race honors all of the men and women who have served in the Armed Forces. YouDrive It assets can be signed out from Vehicle Operations in Bldg. 1138 when support is unavailable. Other means of transportation to and from the airport are available such as off-base taxi and shuttle services from 4 a.m.-midnight. Government vehicle licensing office hours will be limited to 8:30 a.m.-noon.
