Not only does the JEC offer plenty to do; plans are in the works to improve the facility and its products. The JEA staff wishes to revive the music room and institute an open-microphone system, install some theater-style seating for the movie room, and finalize upgrades for personal computers that are primarily used for internet browsing and video games. Many of the new changes were suggested by members or by distinguished visitors. These ideas were taken into account and funding and labor for the projects came from both the 388th FW and 75th ABW. Several of the projects are on the path toward being completed. "(Joint funding contribution) basically demon- Welcome strates the total force concept that Hill AFB is embracing," said Senior Airman Norris Robinson, president of the JEA. Not only are the components JEC undergoing a facelift, but the physical JEC may be doing the same. "Anything we can do as Team Hill and as an Air Force to make the JEA a more attractive, non-alcoholic alternative should be done," said Chief Master Sergeant Martin Klukas, 388th Fighter Wing command chief. "The new ideas that the JEA has proposed are a real touchdown, and I think the improvements will bring in more members than before."
