| Show nearly all will sign proposition of change in hospital and medical treatment for miners will be sure go the petitions which are being cir plated among the of tl ti e camp for the purpose of bringing about a change in the hosl ital and medical treatment which the men are receiving are being rapidly signed up J W morton the secretary secret dry of the local miners union In informs foring the re orter that about out of the 1000 nen den employed in this camp have al ready attached their names to the petition which has been outlined in previous issues of this paper mr horton borton says that the men are signing the petition just as fast as it is pre dented to them in fact mani manya are not v acting for it to be brought to them but are hunting up those who have the petition out of the men who have been approached upon the mat ter but ano two have failed to sign these two to have not exactly refused to sign but have asked for a little more time to consider the matter from the present indications the paper will be signed by fully 99 per cent rent of the men employed in the mines of the camp and this means that the proposition will he be carried through successfully many of the mine owners having already ex pressed a willingness to allow the change as requested provided that a majority of their employed emp loyes desire it |
