Show what about the tin tic commercial club almost every city of any import ance in the state has hag a commercial club or organization the members of which are working hard to boost their home tow jovn n we have a corn mercial club here in eureka but for some unknown reason the business men of the camp do not take the in terest they should in the tion in fact it is a difficult matter to get i i quorum at the regular meetings the secretary in informs fornis us that a large percentage of those who signed as charter members have allowed them selves to fall aw am ay behind in the pa ment of dues in other words the tintic gintic commercial club is practically a dead card how is it that the busi ness people of eureka cannot get to gether forget their petty grievances boost the camp and the district as as they deserve to be boosted and work w ork for the advancement of the business interests surely there is work for a commer cial club here if there is work for such an organization in any of the utah cities tintic gintic is fast becoming the most important mining district in the west and as the metropolis of this district eureka needs many improvements we need a i sewerage system better sidewalks better streets better train better buildings and many other things which would help to cita more attractive and a more inviting place in which to live in other utah cities commercial clubs have been the means of bring brine ing about needed improvements and it is time that those who have the welfare of the camp and the district strict d ii at heart interest themselves in the tintic gintic commercial club one or two tuo men cannot accomplish much but when seventy five or a hundred in fluent ial men go out after something they usually get it |
