A number of these changes will affect employees from Ogden Valley. Linda Carver of Eden has accepted a position as Assistant Superintendent for the Weber School District. Carver has been serving as Director of Student Services for the past 4½ years. Bob Wood of East Huntsville will fill Carver’s position in Student Services, leaving his post as District Supervisor of Elementary Education. Pat Thomas of Eden has been named as Supervisor of Human Resources. Theater Group Looking for Youth to Participate in Summer Performance One Moment in Time Children’s Theater from Liberty is making preparations to present a play by Kathe Owen of North Ogden, with music by Kathy M. Skidmore. The theater group is looking for actors and actresses, ages 6 through 16. We are planning to study the play and learn many new acting skills from July 1, 2003 through September, 2003 when the production will be presented. The group is also looking for help from enthusiastic parents and community members who may be interested in theater. Owner of One Moment in Time Children’s Theater Joan Goodenough stated, “We have the stage and the area to produce this wonderful play. Please call if you are interested in your children being involved in theater, and if you would like to be involved.” Auditions will be held during the month of June, 2003. For details and audition times, call Joan at 745-2778, or Tricia at 745-1265. In order to meet production expenses, there will be a minimal monthly charge for classes. Former Valley Elementary principal Roger Bailey of Liberty has been promoted to Supervisor of Elementary Education at the district office. Former Weber High assistant principal Tommy Lee of Huntsville will succeed Bailey.
