All children from infancy through five years of age, and their caregivers, are invited to attend for stories and learning activities. Children are introduced to books, music, and art, and participate in learning activities. Infants to 3 years, 10:30 a.m.; four and five year olds at 11:00 a.m. A craft activity to follow at 11:30. March 17 - May 5: Eight sessions of beginning Yoga at the Ogden Nature Center with instructor Karen Bush. $65 for Nature Center members, $70 for nonmembers. For ages 15 and above. Rediscover your body's natural alignment, strengthen and tone muscles, cultivate deeper breathing, improve flexibility, and focus your mind on the task at hand and away from your daily stresses. March 26: Star Party at the Ogden Valley Library at 7:00 p.m. There will be a slide show in the Ogden Valley Library auditorium, before going outside to look at the sky with telescopes provided by the Ogden Astronomical Society. March 28: Eats of Eden will be kicking off a month long celebration of their 10th year anniversary by giving cake to their customers all day Friday. Eats of Eden is located at 2595 N. April 1 – 10: “Basketball Madness” at the Annual Valley Tournament scheduled for April 1, 2, 3; and 8, 9, and 10 at Snowcrest Junior High. Fun for the whole community! In the main gallery will be paintings by North Ogden artist, Mac Stevenson, and pottery by Springville potter, Andrew Watson. In the Carriage House Gallery, the print competition of the Ogden Color Camera Club will be featured. These exhibits continue through April 19. In order for a student to be eligible to attend kindergarten, s/he must turn five on, or before, September 1, 2003. April 18: Our Time Kindermusik Classes will be held at the Ogden Valley Montessori School at 2:15. This class is for children from 18 months to 3 years of age and their parent. Classes are held weekly— $30 per month. Village classes (for children from birth to 18 months) are going on now. You can join any time. Classes are every Friday beginning at 1:00. This event is for all children of the Valley 11 years of age and younger. April 20: Easter Sunday. April 20: Fellowship Bible Church’s celebration of Easter will include a communion service at 9:30 a.m. commemorating the sacrificial death of Christ. This will be followed by a continental breakfast, and worship service at 11:00 a.m. celebrating the resurrection of Christ. FBC is presently meeting at Snowcrest Jr. High School in Eden.
