Thompson Beatrice Peterson Mr. & Mrs. Kyle Francis Mr. & Mrs. Marc Zabokrtsky Clifford-Francis Pilcher-Zabokrtsky Gwen Pilcher and Marc Zabokrtsky were united in marriage on December 7, 2002. The bride is the daughter of Carol Pilcher of Liberty, and the late John Pilcher. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Zabokrtsky of the Czech Republic. The bride graduated from Weber State University and is employed with the State Division of Family Services in their Ogden office. The bridegroom is a graduate of Washington State University, and is employed with Trapper’s Land in Ogden. The couple will make their new home in Ogden. Christina Clifford and Kyle Francis were united in marriage on October 9, 2002. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Clifford of North Ogden. The bridegroom is the son of Larry and Shanna Francis of Eden. The bride is attending school at Weber State University, and is employed at McKay Hospital. The bridegroom is employed with Francis Custom Built Homes. The couple is residing in Ogden. Eagle Scouts Michael White, 14, of Troop 248 in Eden, Utah has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. His completed project assists Snowcrest Jr. High in case of emergency evacuation, fire drills, etc. He attends Snowcrest Jr. High. He is the son of Trina White of Huntsville and Charles White of Bountiful, Utah. Peterson Beatrice Shupe Peterson of Huntsville celebrated her 90th birthday with family. She was born Nov. 22, 1912, in North Ogden, to Parley Grant and Luella Chadwick Shupe. She married Joseph Orville Peterson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 2, 1940. They celebrated 50 years of marriage in 1990. He died Nov. 2, 1998. Her children and their spouses are Faye and Don Clark, Ogden; Lynn and Maureen Peterson, Eden; Craig and Peggy Peterson, Huntsville; Donald “Don” and Mary Peterson, Hooper; Karma Peterson, Hurricane; James “Jim” and Joy Peterson, Layton; Joan and Jim Rumsey, St. Cloud, Fla.; Sonya and Doug Hartmann, Huntsville; Orville and Shanna Peterson, Eden; and Robert “Bob” and Debbie Peterson, North Ogden. She has 66 grandchildren, 89 greatgrandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Elva Thompson will celebrate her 90th birthday Nov. 26. Family and friends may attend an open house from 4-6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Huntsville LDS Ward, 277 S. 400 East. No gifts. She was born Nov. 26, 1912, in Liberty, to John and Elizabeth “Bessie” Montgomery. She had two sisters and three brothers. She married Daniel Wells Thompson on Jan. 21, 1931, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived in Eden and Huntsville where she still resides. He died Oct. 14, 1974. Active in the LDS Church, she has served as a Primary teacher, in Mutual and Sunday school, and is currently a visiting teacher. She is also active in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She worked at the Del Monte Canning Factory, Lee Brown turkey plant, the old Dee Hospital and Snow Basin making cinnamon rolls. Her interests include quilting, genealogy, making porcelain dolls, sewing, gardening, working in her yard, and being with her family and friends. Her children and their spouses are Rex and LuJean Thompson, Jay and Barbara Thompson, Glen and Janet Thompson, and Lois and Steve Jeffs. She has 20 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and three greatgreat grandchildren.
