We will remember Les as a father, friend, husband, brother, grandfather and perhaps most importantly, as a gentleman’s gentleman. Les was born September 5, 1922. He was the son of Fredrick and Myra Shreeve Froerer and brother to Elaine Larkin, Gayle Richards, Fred, Bob and Bill Froerer. He was a graduate of Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy. After serving as a naval officer in the South Pacific, he graduated from Utah State University. Fair in business, generous to a fault, full of wit and humor as much as compassion, Lester greeted each day with enthusiasm and every man as a friend. His love of books was surpassed only by the love of ranching, and that only by the love of his family—his wife Carolyn; four sons—Kurt, Gage, Mike and Lan; daughters-in-law, Becky, Gloria, Maren and Deana; and ten grandchildren, Meghan, Piffer Casey Kelly, Ryan, Renee, Dan, Logan, Ariel and Beth. Grandpa Les was the anchor of his family. By his example, we learned what family means and the importance of staying together. His essence will remain among us, and for us, he will truly never die. Graveside services were held September 20 at the Huntsville City Cemetery. A celebration of life was held at the home of Gage and Gloria Froerer after the graveside service. Elder Robert E.
