Show Volume XXV Issue XXIII The Ogden Valley news Page 13 January 15, 2020 Snowcrest First Quarter Honor Students Snowcrest Prepares for Annual Career Day Eden’s Snowcrest Jr. High is preparing for Career Day, slated for Friday, March 13, 2020 from 7:40 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Organizers are looking for a variety of professionals in the community to present to the seventh- and eighthgrade classes of students that day. Morning or afternoon sessions are still available. Students will rotate into each presenter. The goal of Career Day is to help students understand how important it is that they choose a career that fits their personality—something they will enjoy—as well as helping them understand the importance of continuing their education after high school—by attending college or a technical or trade school such as Ogden-Weber Technical College, or on-thejob-training, etc.” If you are willing and interested in participating, please contact Laura Rhees in the counseling department at Snowcrest Jr. High by calling 801-476-5360 or emailing lbrhees@ wsd.net or <mathomas@wsd.net> Snowcrest’s seventh graders will participate in a job shadow program during the same day.
