February 14 – February 17: The Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) at the Ogden Nature Center, during center hours. Admission is free for bird counters! The Great Backyard Bird Count is a national citizen science event. The Ogden Nature Center will be listed as a site on the GBBC website. Community members are invited to come to the Ogden Nature Center to count the numbers and species of birds they see. Pick up a checklist from the Visitor Services desk then choose a place to bird for at least 15 minutes. When you are done birding, please leave your bird counts with the front desk for recording purposes. This is a self-guided activity. For more info call 801621-7595.
