The evening will feature singer Shara Worden from the band My Brightest Diamond. Haunting and poetic, the piece reflects on how memory, relationship, and identity navigate reunion when warriors return home. The performance of Penelope in Ogden will feature seven members of the Salt Lake Symphony led by conductor Robert Baldwin, four musicians from New York, and Shara Wordan. The composer will also be in residence. The music in this piece is haunting and strikes a deep chord for those who have lived through parting and reuniting.
