Originally from Oklahoma, she and her 15 year old son now reside in Eden after moving to the Valley in 2002. Thomas states, “I started Tammy’s Spic N Span Cleaning on a whim. The truth of it is, I started cleaning condo’s for a local company for extra income and they required me to get a business license, which required a business name. With that in mind, I chose the name Tammy’s Spic N Span Cleaning. Five years later, the name still holds. Hopefully, when people hear the name Tammy’s Spic N Span Cleaning, they hold positive thoughts about the company.” Tammy states that condo cleaning was what began her venture. She adds, “I feel very grateful to have had the opportunities I’ve had in the Valley. I can’t say it’s easy because it’s not. I think the biggest challenge I’ve had is related to maintaining balance—trying to do it all. But one person can’t be good at everything so I’ve tried to limit the amount of work that I do, and not take on too much. I have worked, and still work, hard on a daily basis to ensure the highest quality of service for my clients.” She also added, “I do want to thank all of my wonderful clients, and those who have tried my services. Everyday Tammy’s Spic N Span Cleaning gets better. We get better because we love where we are, and we love what we do. Attitude is everything and we are so glad to be in this wonderful Valley. The Valley has been a blessing, and I hope to be here for a very long time. Tammy also has a second business— Vacation Home Services, which specializes in vacation home services. Business services include weekly maintenance, trash removal, and snow removal. The company also contracts to clean linens, make beds, add amenities, purchase groceries, provide shuttle service, and specialty shopping, and will even turn on the porch light to welcome guests! Tammy comments, “Give me a call; you will be happy you chose Vacation Home Services for your property management needs.” The business is licensed, bonded, and insured. You can contact Tammy at 745-2840 or 791-7875. Her office is located in the Eden Business Center at 4786 East 2600 North.
