Issue II Wolf Mountain Howl Fest a Howling Success olf Mountain (formerly Nordic Valley Ski Resort) hosted their first ever Howl Fest on ctober 22 and 23. Over 1,500 folks joined in the festivities to enjoy the entertainment and activities including the bounce house, bobbing for apples, and face painting. The Spikers from the Ogden Weber Chamber were on hand to do the official ribbon cutting. “We were absolutely thrilled with the turnout and support from the community, and thank everyone for their support.” Wolf Mountain’s General Manager Bill Cox commented. CERT kits contain recommended supplies to deal with basic emergencies or even more serious situations to treat trauma victims. In addition for use in a community disaster, the kits are appropriate to have on hand for family outings such as hunting or fishing trips, camping, or other outdoor or remote excursions. The packs are created for easy carrying and weigh less than 30 lbs. fully supplied. A removable fanny pack also comes with the pack. Their sturdy construction also includes reflection stripes for nighttime use. The supplied packs have been developed by Weber County emergency personne’. CERT personnel and volunteers recommend that every family own at least one emergency first aid kit.
