She Vernon J Shaw celebrated his 80th birthday on August 10 with a family dinner and party. He was born August 10, 1925 in Liberty to Lewis and Sarah Rhodes Shaw. He grew up in Liberty on the family farm and attended Weber County schools. On October 24, 1943 he married Norma Allred in Liberty. Their vows were solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1949. They lived in Liberty and Morgan. They currently reside in Roy. He operated a dairy farm in Liberty and Morgan, and worked at Meadow Gold Dairy for 15 years. They spent many winters at their home in St. George and have traveled extensively in their motor home. He trained and raced quarter horses assn years and also had a cutter racing te: He has nol vevarious positions in the LDS Church and is currently a member of the Sandridge LDS Ward. Their children are Kathryn and Doug Seamons, Ogden; Jeff and Rosanne Shaw, Bountiful; Patricia Hodgson, Ogden; Pamela and John Atwood, Morgan; and Brad and Cindy Shaw, Morgan. They have 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Cazier Mexican [| Weddings Staples — Curtis Tara Staples and Kirk L. Curtis were married July 29 in the Logan LDS Temple. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dee R. Staples of Layton. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Morris L. Curtis of Phoenix. Following the ceremony, a luncheon was held at Maddox Restaurant in Perry. The couple was further honored at a reception held at the Davis Conference Center in Layton. She is a graduate of Layton High School and LDS Seminary. She also graduated from Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. She is currently employed with Southwest Airlines in Phoenix. A graduate of West High School and LDS Seminary, he served in the Massachusetts Georgi — Bastow Spring Irene Georgi and Nathan Ross Bastow were united in marriage August 10, 2005 in the Bountiful LDS Temple. The bride is the daughter of Jennifer Georgi of Huntsville and Ricky and Sharon Georgi of Orem. Parents of the groom are Stephen and Karen Bastow of Liberty. Following the ceremony, a luncheon was held in their honor at the Desert Moon Reception Center in Layton. The couple was further honored at a reception held later that evening at the Bastow residence. She is a graduate of Weber High School Ogee Nociton X usiness pascal www EI of Mr & Mrs. Nathan Bastow Corbett — Bushell Michelle Corbett and ogan Richard at Toni’s sense of humor and love of life made the world a better place February 12, 1920 to July 24, 2005. She saw good in everyone she knew and her bright blue eyes and smile lit up any room. For those who were fortunate enough to know “Toni,” you know what I mean. The unconditional love she had for her husband Dean for over 57 years and their daughter Khristin Frank will live on through her grandchildren Lori Gentry and Jesse DuBois, Liberty; and great-grandchildren Ellie and Ethan Reid Gentry and her sister Ronnie, as well as through all the lives she touched.
